About Beth

ASID, IDS, IFDA, IDC Parsons School of Design

I began my professional life as a restaurant and cater chef, which led to my ownership of several popular catering companies in the DC Metro area. My work in the kitchen gained media attention as my reputation and client list grew, and was featured in the Washington Post food section and other local and national publications.

After selling my business in 2006, I taught cooking and explored real estate as a potential second career. Early in my real estate career, my work with developers and investors sparked an interest in design.

Following the successful renovation of multiple properties, I completed the Parsons School of Design’s Interior Design Certificate curriculum and joined the professional design community.

Today, I utilize my design skills & talent to create beautiful personal spaces of value for my clients.

Build

Sometimes achieving a vision means starting over.

That’s true with living spaces and lives. And when you build something new, it should improve upon everything you’ve experienced before.

My career as a designer evolved from my previous careers in culinary arts and real estate. The knowledge I acquired as a top DC catering chef taught me how to design the ideal kitchen. A decade of experience as a Realtor and home flipper honed my layout and practical remodeling and renovation skills.

I improved on these skills by earning my Interior Design Certificate from Parsons School of Design, along with ASID, IDS and IFDA designations.

Now, my evolution helps you achieve your vision. A new space. Designed to improve upon everything you’ve experienced before.

Design

Breathing new life into exhausted spaces brings me joy.

I find inspiration in found objects that tell a story, excitement in pairing colors, textures and patterns in new and unusual ways, and a deep sense of satisfaction in the creation of a truly personalized home for each of my clients.

My design aesthetic blends the past and present, with an eye toward the future. It’s not an imprint of my style, but uniquely yours, elevated and refined.

Your lifestyle. The things you love. Your needs, passions and inspirations, all blended into a beautiful home you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Live

I believe your home should be a curated reflection of you, tailored to your lifestyle and design aesthetic.
